Only case you should be careful is if you have mods in your load order which add/modify Enderal creatures. Personally, I used a clean Skyrim install for Enderal and copied over my modded Skyrim to a new directory so that I can play both at the same time. This mod should work with ANY setup and any other mod. If you do the default Enderal install, you won't be able to play your modded Skyrim until you uninstall Enderal and it puts the original Skyrim files back in place. It then installs its own files into the Skyrim directory. It moves all of your current Skyrim base and DLC files into a backup folder within the Skyrim directory. Enderal has to install into the default Skyrim directory.
